Headwind and tailwind components aloft are available inside the Profile View Inset Window on the
Navigation Map Pane (Figure 6-68). The displayed components are relative to current aircraft altitude and
track, but not to aircraft speed.

Arrows pointing to the left indicate headwind components; tailwind component arrows point to the right,
as shown in Table 6-8.
