1. To configure cascading, check on the Enable Server Cascading field. Do not check this field
if there is only 1 server.
Important Note: Only 3 servers can be cascaded with 1 as the Main Server and the other
2 as Slave Servers.
The cascading settings will only be available once cascading has been enabled
2. System's Role identifies the function of a server. Select Main Server to configure a server as
primary or master server; Select Slave Server to configure a server as a secondary server.
3. Skip this step for the Master Server and proceed to step 5. For Slave Servers, enter the path of
the mapped HMS 400 directory of the Main Server. (First, the HM directory must be shared out
on the Main Server and then mapped on the Slave servers. See below for the steps on sharing
the HM directory).
Note: The default path is E:
4. Configure the ODBC Connection on the Slave Server. Refer to the section on Configuring
ODBC Connection below
5. Specify the AWU Room Range that each server will be handling.
Important Note: This setting MUST be set for each server, otherwise, no AWU jobs will be
done. The range of rooms set for each server cannot be duplicated or cannot fall within the
same range that another Server is handling.
