Error Handling Mode

The Halt on Error option causes the handset to stop operating if an error
message is received. Unless the error is a fatal one, normal operation can
be resumed by power cycling the handset. Press START or remove and
replace the Battery Pack. The Restart On Error option causes the handset
to make every effort to reboot quietly and quickly to standby mode. In either
scenario, a call in progress is lost.
Error detail can be captured by the Syslog Server and can also be available
for downloading with the Handset Administration Tool.

Restore Defaults

The Restore Defaults option restores all user and administrative parameters,
except Telephony Protocol, to the factory default configurations. For more
