Action
Download the latest handset firmware from the Nortel Web site:
www.nortel.com/support
Ensure the TFTP Server is started.
Load the latest version of the handset UNIStim code firmware and
place it on the TFTP Server.
The five required files are:

slnk_cfg.cfg
• pd11gl3.bin
• pd11usd.bin
• pd11usd3.bin
• pi110006.bin
If you are assigning static IP addresses, ensure that the wireless
handset IP address, TFTP Server IP address, Subnet Mask, and
Default Gateway information are accurate in the wireless handset
Admin menu.
OR
If you are using a DHCP server, ensure that the DHCP options are
configured. For more information, see
Ensure the wireless handset has properly configured ESSID and
Reg Domain Information within the Admin menu.
If broadcast ESSIDs are accepted at the APs, the handset
automatically learns the ESSID information when powering on.
