FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM TROUBLESHOOTING
Fault code No.
Item
2 "01" is indicated in the diagnos-
tic mode (Code No. 60).
EEPROM data error for adjust-
ment of CO concentration.
3 "12" is indicated in the diagnos-
tic mode (Code No. 60).
EEPROM data error for O
feedback learning values.
4 Malfunction in ECU.
5 Delete the fault code and check
that the engine trouble warning
light goes off.

EEPROM fault code number: an error is detected while reading or
writing on EEPROM.
Activate the CO volume adjust-
ment mode using the YDT.
Click the "Step up" or "Step
down" button 1 time. (Clicking
the "Step up" or "Step down"
button during this procedure
does not change the CO vol-
ume.)
Then, turn the main switch to
"OFF".
For more information, refer to
the operation manual of the
YDT.
Turn the main switch to "OFF".

Replace the ECU.
Confirm that the fault code has
a condition of "Recover" using
the YDT, and then delete the
fault code.

Turn the main switch to "ON",
and then check the fault code
using the malfunction mode of
the YDT.
Condition is "Recover" → Go to
item 5 and finish the service.
Condition is "Malfunction" →
Repeat item 1.
If the same number is indicated,
go to item 4.
Turn the main switch to "ON",
and then check the fault code
using the malfunction mode of
the YDT.
Condition is "Recover" → Go to
item 5 and finish the service.
Condition is "Malfunction" →
Repeat item 1.
If the same number is indicated,
go to item 4.
Service is finished.
