Magneto rotor nut
70 N·m (7.0 kgf·m, 52 lb·ft)
TIP
• While holding the magneto rotor "2" with the
magneto holder "3", tighten the magneto rotor
nut.
• Do not allow the magneto holder to touch the
projection on the magneto rotor.

3. Apply:
• Sealant
(onto the crankshaft position sensor/stator
assembly lead grommet)
Yamaha bond No. 1215
(90890-85505)
(Three bond No.1215-B)
MAGNETO AND STARTER CLUTCH

4. Install:
• Magneto cover
Magneto cover bolt
10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7.4 lb·ft)
TIP
Tighten the magneto cover bolts in the proper
tightening sequence as shown.
