Steps in Common
1) Open the lower front cover assembly and loosen the screw to open the Primary Charging Air Supply Fan
unit.
2) Remove the connector and the 2 protrusions to remove the Primary Charging Air Supply Fan unit.
3) Move the lever in the direction of the arrow (to "Close" side) and close the Pre-transfer Charging Shutter.
[Caution] When reassembling the Main Body after completion of service work, make sure to open the
Pre-transfer Charging Shutter by moving the lever to the "OPEN" side.
4) Remove 2 pins and 2 torsion springs to remove the Upper Front Cover Assembly.
[Caution] The torsion springs differ between the left and right. Be careful not to mix up the left and right when
reassembling the Main Body after completion of service work.
