Open the equalize valve on the low pressure (downstream) side of the transmitter. The
manifold is now in the proper configuration for zeroing the transmitter.
Operate three and five-valve manifolds
Performing zero trim at static line pressure
In normal operation, the two isolate (block) valves between the process ports and the
transmitter will be open, and the equalize valve will be closed.

D. Process

F. Drain/vent valve
Procedure
1. To zero trim the transmitter, close the isolate valve on the low side (downstream)
