If you are replacing the O-rings, be careful not to scratch the O-ring grooves or the
surface of the isolating diaphragm when removing the damaged O-rings.
a) Coplanar process flange:
• Hold the process flange in place by installing the two alignment screws to
finger tightness (screws are not pressure retaining). Do not over-tighten
as this will affect module-to-flange alignment.
• Install the four 1.75-in. flange bolts by finger tightening them to the
flange.
b) Coplanar process flange with flange adapters:
• Hold the process flange in place by installing the two alignment screws to
finger tightness (screws are not pressure retaining). Do not over-tighten
as this will affect module-to-flange alignment.
