15.2 Disconnecting the negative cable of the 12 V batterY

Preparatory work

Press and hold the kill switch Q9 while the engine is idling until
the engine stops.

Remove the air filter box cover.
-
Remove the seat.
Main work
-
Pull back the negative terminal cover.
-
Disconnect negative cable

Connect negative cable

Slide negative terminal cover over the negative terminal.

Mount the seat.
