9.4.4 People Counting

Only some versions may support this function.
People Counting Configuration:
This function is to calculate the number of people entering or exiting in the detected area on the video by detecting,
tracking and counting the head shapes of people.
① Click StartSettingsCamera Smart SettingsPeople Counting to go to the following interface.
② Select the camera, enable the people counting detection and set the duration, sensitivity, statistic cycle, enter
threshold, departure threshold and retention threshold.
Statistic cycle: All, daily, weekly and monthly are optional.
Reset: The current number of people counting will be cleared and the statistic cycle will restart by clicking "Reset"
button.
③ Set the alarm area and entrance direction. Click "Draw Area" and drag the mouse to draw a rectangle area. Drag
the four corners of the rectangle to modify its size and drag the lines of the rectangle to change its position. Uncheck
the "Draw Area" if you finish the drawing. Click "Clear" to clear the area. Click and drag the arrow or the other end of
the arrow line to change the people entrance direction.
④ Click "Apply" to save the settings.
⑤Click "Processing Mode" to go to the alarm handling configuration interface of people counting detection.
People Counting Detection Alarm Handling Configuration:
① Click StartSettingsAlarm People Counting to go to the following interface.
② Enable or disable "Record", "Snapshot", "Push", "Alarm-out", "Preset", "Buzzer", "Pop-up Video" and "E-mail". The
alarm handling setting of people counting detection alarm is similar to that of the sensor alarm (see
