tilting may result in shortening the life of the components.

Cautions when setting the projectors

f Use the adjustable feet only for the floor standing installation and for adjusting the angle. Using them for other
purposes may damage the projector.
f When installing the projector with a method other than the floor installation using the adjustable feet or the
ceiling installation, use the four screw holes for ceiling mount (as shown in the figure) to fix the projector to the
mount. For details about the screw hole position for ceiling mount, refer to "Screw hole specifications for ceiling
mount" (x page 179).
(Screw diameter: M4, tapping depth inside the projector: 8 mm (5/16"), torque: 1.25 ± 0.2 N·m)
In such case, make sure that there is no clearance between the screw holes for ceiling mount on the projector
bottom and the setting surface by inserting spacers (metallic).
Adjustable feet
f Do not stack the projectors.
f Do not use the projector supported by its top.
f Do not block the ventilation ports (intake and exhaust) of the projector.
f Avoid heating and cooling air from the air conditioning system directly blow to the ventilation ports (intake and
exhaust) of the projector.
