Chapter 1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 Overview

The Comtech EF Data UT-4579 X-Band Up Converter (Figure 1-1) is designed for
the transmission of SCPC, DAMA and TDMA signals in communication systems or
satellite uplink data systems. This converter is also used in communications
system applications with full transponder HDTV and analog TV.
