unattended
Use the unattended command to enable or disable the unattended feature of the
ServeRAID controllers.
Supported operating systems: Windows NT, OS/2, NetWare, Linux, OpenServer,
Unixware, and DOS
Command:
ipssend unattended controller options
where:
controller is the ServeRAID controller number (1–12)
options is one of the following:
– ON to enable the feature
– OFF to disable the feature
– ? to display the current setting of this feature

Starting the IPSMON program

You can run the IPSMON program from the operating system command line.
To start the IPSMON program:
If you are using OS/2 or Windows NT:
1. Type:
c:\ipsadm\ipsmon
where c is the drive letter of the drive where OS/2 or Windows NT is installed.
2. Press Enter.
If you are using Novell NetWare:
1. From the console, type:
load ipsmon
2. Press Enter.
If you are using Linux, SCO OpenServer, or UnixWare:
1. Type:
/usr/bin/ipsmon
2. Press Enter.

Using the IPSMON program

When you start the IPSMON monitoring program, it immediately begins polling all ServeRAID controllers
for specific conditions. If a condition being monitored is found, this program logs a message to the
screen, to a file, or to both the screen and a file.
Supported operating systems: Windows NT, OS/2, NetWare, Linux, OpenServer, UnixWare

ipsmon options
