Changing the settings of the Management Explorer

To change general settings of the DiagMonitor Management Explorer, select the "Tools"
menu and then "Settings...". Here, you can then make the following settings:
• Confirm program exit: If this box is selected, an additional confirmation window appears
when you close the Management Explorer.
• Start with Windows: Specifies whether or not the Management Explorer opens
automatically when you start Windows.
• Start delay: The Management Explorer requires several services to start. If the program is
started with Windows, it may be possible that not all of these services are available yet.
Here you can enter a start delay in seconds to ensure that all required services will have
been started.
• Minimize to...: The program window can be minimized to the taskbar or to the system
tray.

Revisions

You can determine the number of hours the device has been in operation from the
"Operating hours" group and also define custom revision alarms.
All previously defined revisions are listed in the right window of the Management Explorer.
After selecting the symbol of a revision, you can change the properties of this revision by
right-clicking:
• "Title" window:
Shows the name of revision in the Revisions group.
• "Alarm at" window:
When these specified operating hours are reached, an alarm is triggered.
• "Alarm in" window:
An alarm is triggered if the number of operating hours equal the number of operating
hours already accumulated plus the operating hours specified in this field.
• "Interval" window:
A cyclic alarm is triggered when the specified time has expired once this option is
activated.
Revisions can be added or removed at any time without restriction.
