Installing SNMP service up to Windows® 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB
1. Press the shortcut "Windows + r".
2. Enter "appwiz.cpl" in the text box and confirm your entry.
The "Programs and Features" window opens.
3. Click on "Turn Windows features on or off".
The "Windows Features" window opens.
4. Select the "Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)" option.
5. Confirm with "OK".

Installing SNMP using the Control Panel (Internet connection required)
1. Connect the device to the Internet.
2. Press the shortcut "Windows + r".
3. Enter "ms-settings:optionalfeatures" in the text box and confirm your entry.
The "Manage optional features" window opens.
4. Click "Add a feature".
The "Add a feature" window opens.
5. Select the "Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)" option.
6. Click "Install".
Installing SNMP using the supplied USB stick (no Internet connection necessary)
For SIMATIC devices with pre-installed Windows® operating system, you can also install the
SNMP service as of Windows® 10 Enterprise 2019 LTSC as follows:
1. Insert the USB stick provided with the SIMATIC device into the device.
2. Wait until the USB stick is detected and connected as a drive.
3. Start the "START_DocuAndDrivers.cmd" script from the USB stick.
4. Select "Software" in the index.
5. Select "Optional Windows features".
6. Select "Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)".
7. Click on the "Install" icon.
