Requirement
• You have downloaded the current firmware version for your SIMATIC IPC from the
Internet, unpacked it and stored it on your device, see Industry Automation and Drive
Technologies - Homepage (http://www.siemens.com/automation/service&support).
Procedure
1. Start the Management Explorer.
2. In the menu bar, select "Tools > Local BIOS...".
3. Select the "Update" tab.
4. Click the "Load" button in the "BIOS Image" field.
5. Navigate to the folder in which you previously stored the current firmware version.
6. Open the "BIOS" folder.
7. Observe the information in the warning message and start the update.
8. After the update is complete, restart your device.
