Using macros in e-mail and SMS notification

Macros are available for e-mail and SMS notification. The current value at the time the alarm

is triggered will then be inserted in place of the macros. Macros are available for the

following specific or variable values:

• Station

Macro: %STATION%

• Date

Macro: %DATE%

• Time of the alarm

Macro: %TIME%

• Reason for the alarm

Macro: %REASON%

Example

• Event that triggers an alarm:

There was a fan failure at station "IPC847E" at 11.00 am on May 17, 2018.

• Prepared text under the menu item Options > Email ....:

%DATE%, %TIME%: Alarm at station %STATION%. %REASON%.

• Text in the e-mail which is sent automatically:

May 17 2018, 11.00 am: Alarm at station IPC847E. The low alarm limit for fan 0 (housing
