2. Fully lower the cutting units to the ground, engage the Park Brake, reduce engine speed to idle and stop
engine then remove key from the ignition switch.
3. Loosen the four-wheel nuts on both rear wheels.
4. Lift the rear of the machine at the rear axle, and support it close as possible to the wheel motors with the appro-
priately rated axle stands.
5. Remove both rear wheels.
6. Using two wheel nuts (With flat sides towards plate) fasten each alignment tool (Part Number 4390586) plate to
each rear wheel hub (See below)
7. Take a measurement between the front left-hand and front right-hand alignment tool plates (X) and compare
this with the measurement between the rear left and right hand of the alignment tool plates (Y).
8. The rear plate measurement (Y) should be 3.2mm greater than the front measurement (X), i.e. there is a
3.2mm toe-in.
9. If adjustment to achieve 3.2mm difference is required, hold steering link 'B' with a 19mm spanner and using a 1
1/8inch spanner undo nut 'A'.
10.Keeping distances 'C' and 'D' equal, adjust steering link 'B' equally on both sides of the machine by screwing
clockwise to reduce dimension X or unscrewing counter clockwise to increase until the desired tow-in is
achieved.
11. Re-check that the tow-in is 3.2mm, as per step 7 above.
