Error Codes

When some fatal error has occurred in the unit, and an
error code appears to the right of the error message.
The error code consists of 4-digit major error code and
4-digit minor error code. The following descriptions
are common with major and minor codes.

0050 Recovery failed owing to
insufficient conditions
00E0 ROM Update error
00F0 No data even though the Tele-
File information indicates that it
is not a bland-new tape
00FE The SCSI board (SCS-28) has
been installed in this unit.
00YY Other errors
1)Note that DTF-1 and DIR cassettes cannot be formatted with the
GY-8240FC.
