4.3.4 Input Control

After the electronic load is powered on, it is in an unloaded state. Users can control the
input switch of the load by pressing the ON button on the front panel.
If the indicator light of the ON button is on, it means that the input is turned on, and the
real-time voltage, current and power in the current loop will be displayed on the LCD
screen.
If the indicator light is off, it means that the input is closed, and the current voltage across
the load will be displayed on the LCD screen.

4.4 Waveform

The UTL8500X series electronic load has a waveform display function. Users can view
the voltage and current waveforms by pressing the function key [Waveform], as shown in
Figure 4-4.

Opt U/Opt I/Opt U+I: respectively represent voltage waveform/ current waveform/voltage
and current waveform display simultaneously.
Pause: pause the waveform display.
Zoom in: each time users press the zoom in key, the sampling period is reduced. For
example, the shortest sampling period is 10ms.
Zoom out: each time users press the zoom out key, the sampling period increases, for
example, the longest sampling period is 80ms once.
The sampling time will be displayed at the bottom left of the screen.
Esc: Exit the waveform display.
Note: Users can adjust the Y coordinate to display the waveform by turning the knob left
and right or up and down keys.
