Inspecting the Collection
System
Service Interval: After the first 8 hours
Every 100 hours
1. Disengage the PTO, move the motion control levers to
the neutral locked position, and set the parking brake.
2. Stop the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving
parts to stop before leaving the operating position.
3. Check the upper tube, lower tube, bagger, and the
blower assembly. Replace these parts if they are cracked
or broken.
4. Check the bagger frame. Replace any parts that are
cracked or broken.
5. Tighten all nuts bolts and screws.

Adjusting the Door Closing

The two hinge links and two stop screws can be adjusted to
provide complete closing of the door.
1. Disengage the PTO, move the motion control levers to
the neutral locked position, and set the parking brake.
2. Stop the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving
parts to stop before leaving the operating position.
3. With the door closed, the stop bolts need to be
adjusted so that the contact arm is straight up and
down
(Figure
40).
4. If adjustment is need, loosen the nuts and adjust the
stop bolts
(Figure
40).
5. After the stop bolts have been adjusted, the length of
the hinge links can be adjusted to provide complete
closing of the door and reasonable force on the handle.
Lengthen the links to reduce the force. Shorten the
links to increase the force
6. Make sure both the left and right sides are adjusted the
same distance. With the door closed, the links should
be slightly tight to minimize rattling.
7. Tighten the nuts.
