The following is an example of zoning when the LT160 is shared by two servers.
The drives are also shared by the servers. Note, however, that only one server
controls the LT160 controller.

To share the tape library, both servers must be able to access the LT160. If the
zoning is not performed, both servers can access the LT160 controller. The devices
must be configured after fully identifying such characteristics to prevent their
controller conflicts from causing an unexpected operation.
If the zoning is performed, server A accesses the controller and drives, and server B
accesses only drives. Each server is thus able to control the devices safely.
