5. Click Incoming Connections.
6. Click the Users tab
7. In the Users allowed to connect field, select the check box next to the user ID
for which you want to grant remote access.

To grant remote access using Windows XP Incoming Connections Properties:
1. Click Start.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Control Panel.
4. Select Network and Dial-up Connections.
Note: If Incoming Connections does not exist, you have to install it. For more
information, see Create and configure incoming connections.
5. Click Incoming Connection Properties.
6. In the Users allowed to connect field, select the check box next to the user ID
for which you want to grant remote access.

Complete the following steps to create and configure incoming connections for
Windows 2000.
1. Click Start —>Settings —> Control Panel.
2. Select Network and Dial-up Connections.
3. Click Make New Connection. The Welcome to the Network Connection
Wizard window appears.
4. Click Next.
5. Click Accept incoming connections. Then, click Next.
6. Select the check box for the PC modem that is going to receive the calls from
the remote console.
Make sure that the Operations Console Connection check box is not selected.
If other check boxes are selected, do not change them.
Then, click Next.
7. Click Do not allow virtual private connections.
