External serial communication block
The external serial communication block communicates with the outside in series using a communication
control signal from SoC and a multi-protocol transceiver. This block switches the operating mode of the
multi-protocol transceiver using the I/O connector of SoC and changes the protocol. The terminating
resistance during use of RS-422 and RS-485 is also turned on and off to switch the internal setting of the
multi-protocol transceiver using a signal from the I/O connector of SoC.
This unit supports the full and half duplex communications of RS-422 and RS-485.
SD card interface block
SoC incorporates an SD card controller.
The signal of the SoC's SD card interface block is sent to the card slot on an HC-51 board through
CN902.
Local power block
The constant voltages (1.1 V, 1.5 V, 2.5 V, 1.8 V, and 3.3 V) used on an SY-416 board are generated on
the SY-416 board using a voltage of 5 VDC output from a PS-858 board.
