Tie to Output A (HDMI Output)

Output A can be assigned via SIS commands to output one of the two inputs, regardless of
which input is selected (see
page 42) or via PCS (see
output A will be limited (for example, analog audio embedding and color space conversion
are not possible).
This mode is disabled by default.

Audio Configuration

Input Audio Configuration
When configured, the analog audio input signal is converted to 16-bit, 2.0 LPCM, with
48 kHz sampling frequency, and embedded onto the HDMI signal. Embedded audio from
the HDMI input can be configured individually.
Analog — The analog audio input signal is digitized and embedded onto the HDMI
signal.
Digital — The digital audio present on the HDMI video input is passed unaltered.
Auto (default) — The digital audio embedded on the video signal is used. If the digital
audio is not detected, the analog audio input will be used.
If digital embedded audio content is not present on the HDMI signal and analog audio
is present, the analog audio is embedded onto the digital output. Analog audio is not
transported simultaneously over the TP output.
Audio can be configured using SIS commands (see
PCS (see
Input Configuration
Analog Audio Follow
When an input is selected, audio transport over HDMI can be configured to operate in one
of three modes. Each input can be configured individually for any of these three modes:
Follow input selection (default)— The analog audio input is always routed over TP to
the analog audio output, regardless of the input selected.
Lock to input 1 — The analog audio input is only routed to the analog audio output
over TP when input 1 is selected.
Lock to input 2 — The analog audio input is only routed to the analog audio output
over TP when input 2 is selected.
Audio can be configured using SIS commands (see
on page 46) or PCS (see
Analog Audio Mute
The analog audio output over the TP output can be muted via SIS commands (see
Audio Mute (over TP out)
page 25).
Output Audio Configuration
Embedded audio can be enabled or disabled on each output individually or globally via
SIS commands (see
Configuration).
