Connect control devices. Connect your computer to either of the following ports to
configure and control the switcher via SIS commands or PCS:
RS‑232 port — This 3-pole RS-232 port (
Remote RS‑232 Control
Config port — USB mini-B port for USB control (see

Connect a push‑button contact closure device or an indicator device to the
Contact/Tally port (optional). To switch inputs or to identify the currently selected input
when the front panel buttons are not visible. Connect a device such as an LED to the
Contact In/Tally Out port (

Enable input switching by contact closure (optional). Connect an input device to
the Contact In port, directly or through a contact closure device (see
page 13).
Power on the output display.

Power inlet — Plug the provided external 12 VDC, 2.0 A power supply into this 2-pole,
3.5 mm captive screw inlet and into an DC power outlet (see
page 9).
Audio input — (Optional) Connect a 3.5 mm analog audio input to the switching
transmitter via this stereo mini jack port. Analog audio can be embedded onto the digital
video signal (see
Input Audio Configuration
NOTE: The analog audio input is in addition to the
digital audio that may be embedded in the HDMI
inputs. The figure at right shows the connector tip,
ring, and sleeve.
A mono audio connector consists of the tip and
sleeve.
A stereo audio connector consists of the tip, ring,
and sleeve.
