Procedure
Use the recessed handles at the top and bottom of the Virtual Services Platform 9012 sides to lift
the chassis. From the rear of the Virtual Services Platform 9012, lift the chassis from the bottom
only.
Securing the chassis
Mount the Virtual Services Platform 9012 chassis in a standard two-post or four-post equipment
rack.
Procedure
1. Hold the chassis in position and align the flanged end of the chassis mounting bracket with
the holes on either side of the vertical rack support.
2. Ensure that the 7 hole pairs on either side of the rack vertical supports match horizontally.
3. Insert 4 Phillips screws through each hole on the mounting bracket in the 7 screw positions
in the flange and rack. If you plan to install the optional I/O cable bracket, do not insert
screws into the top (1st), middle (4th) and bottom (7th) screw positions of the left side flange
and rack.
4. Tighten each screw with a Phillips screwdriver.
