The internal clock rate can be set by
using this button. Tapping this button in
time with the beat will set the internal
clock to this rate. The first tap will display
"TIMING TAP" and the second tap will
display the actual BPM that was
measured.
The Kiwi-SJX can output a number of
different sysex dumps and this button is
used to start the dump process.
The button sequence to send a sysex
dump out the midi out is press SYSEX
DUMP , then select the DUMP type using
the GROUP buttons then press the
WRITE button. The dump will only start
when the WRITE is pressed.
A DUMP can be canceled before it starts
by pressing the CANCEL or SYSEX
DUMP buttons.
Note - Write Protect must be off to Load
Dumps into the Kiwi-SJX
Note – The Kiwi-SJX may become
unresponsive during a large sysex dump
In the MKS-70 version of the upgrade
sysex dump is entered by pressing the
SHIFT button followed by the CHORD
button
This button will select the Lower Tone for
editing by the on board parameter
editing, PG800 or midi CC commands.
This button will select the Upper Tone for
editing by the on board parameter
editing, PG800 or midi CC commands.
This option is not available in the
MKS-70 version of the Kiwi-SJX.
Patch Select (Group 2) – Dump
Current Patch edit buffer.
Tone Select (Group 3) – Dump
Current Selected Upper or
Lower voice Tone edit buffer.
Sequence Select (Group 4) –
Dump Current Sequence. The
currently selected Sequence
edit buffer will be dumped
All Patches (Group 5) – Dump All
Stored Patches.
Warning – Large file size
All Tones (Group 6) – Dump All
Stored Tones.
Warning – Large file size
All Sequences (Group 7) – Dump
All Stored Sequences.
Warning – Large file size
Global (Group 8) – Dump Global
Settings.
During Name Editing this button will
move the Name letter being edited to
the Left if possible.
In the MKS-70 this button pressed
after SHIFT will toggle the Arp On and
Off.
This button will move the Name letter
being edited to the Right if possible.
In the MKS-70 this button pressed
after SHIFT will toggle the Sequence
Start and Stop.
