Program ROM IC6 can also be removed if it is socketed as it is not used in the upgrade. If this is soldered in it can be left.
This picture shows all the parts removed.

JX-10 CPU Board
In the JX-10 fit the 16k resistors. and 10k resistors, the 40 pin IC socket
and the R34 Link. Fit the 5 links in IC21. The link in place of R34 has
been fitted but is not visible in this photo.
On IC21 the following links need to be fitted
Link 1 Pin 15 to Pin16
Link 2 Pin 3 to Pin 13
Link 3 Pin 4 to Pin 12
Link 4 Pin 5 to Pin 11
Link 5 Pin 6 to Pin 10
MKS-70 CPU Board
In the MKS-70 fit the 10k resistors, the 40 pin IC socket and the R34
link. The IC21 links and the 16k resistors (R43 & R44) do not need to be
fitted. The link in place of R34 has been fitted but is not visible in this
photo.
