Cleaning the dust boots of the fork legs

Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand and rest it on side

Remove the lift stand.
Preparatory work
–
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. (

Loosen the fork protection. (
Main work

Push dust boots of both fork legs downward.
Info
The dust boots remove dust and coarse dirt particles
from the inside fork tubes. Over time, dirt can pene-
trate behind the dust boots. If this dirt is not removed,
the oil seals behind the dust boots can start to leak.
