Installing the HP E1741A Time Interval
Analyzer or TIA User Interface Software
If you are unsure of the type of software you have, check the label on the
disks. If you have either the HP E1741A Time Interval Analyzer,
TIA User Interface, or HP E1747A Timing Pattern Analysis software,
then follow these instructions to install the software. For any other
software, refer to the installation instructions provided in other
documentation.

Computer Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements to support operation of the
HP E1741A or TIA User Interface software. The standard HP E1725C,
which includes a portable computer, meets or exceeds all of these
minimums:
20 MHz 386-based PC with a 387 co-processor
8 megabytes of RAM
A hard disk with at least 5 megabytes of free disk space
DOS version 5.0 (or later) and Microsoft Windows
®
Windows
95)
A two-button mouse

Install the Software

Insert disk 1 into the 3.5-inch floppy drive.

Start Windows 95, and select Programs group.

Double-click on the Windows Explorer icon, then choose drive a:.

Double-click on the Setup file to install the software.
The following window is displayed, which allows you to customize your
installation.
