Chapter 3 Practice Using the TIA Software

Select the TIA Setup window by clicking on its title bar or selecting
Control>TIA Setup [expanded].
This window is used to specify how the TIA will acquire measurement
data. As specified on this setup form, you will make a fast histogram
acquisition consisting of 1,000 measurements. They will be single-source
measurements as would be used when making data-to-data
measurements and these measurements will be used for display and
analysis.
The TIA Setup parameters are described below:
Free run
This selection indicates that the TIA will not wait for an external
trigger once an input signal is present and the TIA is instructed to
start acquiring data.
