Demo 1: Data-to-Data
Double-click on the upper left corner of this window to close the
Define Segments & Clock window.
The main display of this Segmented Histogram window shows all of the
segment data combined. All of the segment cells beneath the panorama
are currently darkened. You can select the distributions you would like to
include or exclude in the statistical analysis on the main display by
clicking on the corresponding segments beneath the panorama display.
If the segment is dark (grayed), it is selected. If it is light, it is excluded
from the analysis.
Note that the mean value currently displayed is 506.4 ps (this is the
difference between the center of the segment and the mean value of the
combined distributions).
Click on the first segment (2T) to disable it.
Note how dramatically the mean value is changed when this distribution
is excluded. (Observe the change in the distribution shape as you
enable/disable this segment). Clearly, significant peak-shift is associated
with the 2T segment data.
You can also overlay segment results on this display. Select
Segment>Overlaid Segments. Individual results from each enabled
segment are displayed. Statistics are reported for the highlighted
waveform which is associated with the highlighted (active) segment.
To activate a different segment, point and click your right mouse button
on the desired segment.
Click on the first segment again to enable it.
