1. Follow the steps in
Prepare the Gun for Service, page
2. Loosen the captive screw (26p). Remove the
valve (26) from the handle.
3. Lubricate the o-rings (26b* and 26m*) with
non-silicone grease, Part No. 111265. Do not
over-lubricate.
Note
Do not over-lubricate parts. Excessive
lubricant on the o-rings can be pushed
into the gun air passage and blemish the
finish on the workpiece.

4. Clean and inspect parts for damage. Replace
if necessary.
Note
The protrusion on the retainer plate (26h)
must point upward.
5. Reinstall the valve. Torque the screw (27) to
15-25 in-lb (1.7-2.8 N•m).
