❑ Pump housing, installing, refer to

Bracket Tensioning Strap

Removing
1 - Convertible top frame
2 - Bracket tensioning strap
❑ Before removing con‐
vertible, remove bolts
-6-, release tensioning
strap at retaining tabs
and pull strap into con‐
vertible top compart‐
ment.
❑ If tensioning strap must
be replaced, also re‐
move bolts on bracket
and remove retaining
strip -4- with tensioning
strap from bracket.
❑ When installing, first
slide into convertible top
compartment from be‐
low and engage at rear
on retaining tabs.

On the electro-hydraulic convertible top, convertible top move‐

ments are performed electrically during removal work.
Therefore, connectors to cover motors and hydraulics should

only be disconnected after the convertible top is stored in the
compartment.
