Hood Lock Control Cable Mount - Audi TT 207 Repair Manual

– Push foam grommet -7- on control cable mount -6- to the side.
– Cut through the cable tie -arrow-.
– Release the retaining clips and open the cover.
– Remove control cable bracket -5- from control cable mount
-1-.
– Detach the control cable fitting for the right lid lock from con‐
necting piece -2-.
Note
Ignore -3 and 4-.
– Remove the screws -arrows- and the air guide.
– Remove the right hood lock. Refer to
⇒ "2.2.8 Left and Right Hood Lock", page 43
– Disconnect the cable ties and remove the lid lock control cable.
Installation
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

When installing, position cable ties in same place.
– Install the right hood lock. Refer to

– Install the engine compartment E-box cover. Refer to ⇒ Elelc‐

both bars in the direction of -arrow-.
