Reverse:
For heating control with a heater. The heater output is increased when the mea-
sured temperature is below the SP (i.e., a negative temperature difference).
Normal:
For cooling control of overheated objects using cooling water or some other
method. The cooling water output is increased when the measured temperature
is above the SP (i.e., a positive temperature difference).
Selects the method of control.
