Description
When a reset action is carried out, the device switches to a state in which
parameters can be set after running through a device-specific
initialization phase. Either one of the device states or also the state
before reset can be selected as an initialization phase.
1: State before reset
2: Run
3: Standby
4: Power down
5: Maintenance
Four statuses are defined which rule each other out:
2: Run:
All equipment required to generate valid measured values
is active.
3: Standby:The device is ready for measuring or can switch to the run
state without a delay using a command.
4: Power down: Economy or power-down mode. The unit is not ready
for measurements. It may take a long time to reach readiness for
measurement.
5: Maintenance:
A new state is selected by writing the desired state (code) in the
DEVICE_STATE parameter.
The global device status is the top hierarchy level of the status
information. It indicates whether there is an active message in one of the
status classes named below. Each bit of the global status is the or link of
all bits from the corresponding status class.
Bit 0:
Failure
Bit 1:
Maintenance required
Bit 2:
Function check
Bit 3:
Limits (limit violations recognized in transducer and/or function
block)
Bit 4-15: Manufacturer-specific
Date of the last calibration.
Name of the person who has calibrated the analyzer.
MLFB-(order-) Number
Faults
