To do this you have to make the following settings:
Settings with SIMATIC PDM: Here you set the parameters which also have an influence on the cyclic
useful data.
When you select the appropriate instrument according to the type and number of components, you
get the appropriate default settings in the SIMATIC PDM user interface. The following sections only
contain those which you need to set additionally.
4.2.1 Selecting the Gas Analyzer / Transducer Block Measuring Variable
Create a suitable instrument.
The measuring range cannot be changed in the measuring variable block. The maximum
measuring range is always displayed here.
The unit can be switched between vpm and mg/m
The 'Analog Input Block' takes over the necessary input range from the 'Measuring Variable'
transducer block. The output range must be parameterized according to the requirements in the
Analog Input Block.
The name of the component can be changed in the transducer block and is used in the measured
value display image in the measured values/input tab.
The frequency of the measured value refreshment can be set with the scanning interval.
4.2.2 Analog Input Block / TAG
The name of the process measuring variable can be changed as a "TAG".
This name is shown in the measured value display in the measured values/output tab to identify the
measured value.
