Closing the cover of the CC–S
After changing the jumper setting, perform the above steps in reverse order to re–assemble
the device. Secure the cover of the converter with 6 screws and apply the auxiliary voltage
again.
Display and operation
There are four display and control elements on the CC–S
and one green LED and one push button located on the top side of the housing.

LED 1, Error
The red LED "Error" directly signals the way in which the DR relay functions. For the LED
goes out, certain conditions must be fulfilled:

The RESET Push Button is not pushed
n
The S –Bus is connected and in service

LED 2, FO1/LWL1
The first yellow LED "FO1/LWL1" signals via blinking that:
n
data is received at the FO1 fibre optic input and
n
the B–Channel is ready for transmission
A blinking LED 1 means that data is received from the FO1 input and the received data is
routed though the CC–S
selected! The LED light up if the RESET push button is pressed.

LED 3, FO2/LWL2
The second yellow LED "FO2/LWL2" signals via blinking that:
n
data is received at the FO2 fibre optic input and
n
the B–Channel is ready for transmission
A blinking LED 2 means that data is received from the FO2 input and the received data is
routed though the CC–S
selected! The LED light up if the RESET push button is pressed.

LED 4, Power On
The green LED "Power On" signals the activated auxiliary voltage.

Push button
The push button initiates a reset.
Also LED's 1–3 are activated for the period during which the push button is actuated, and
the DR relay is deactivated if it was activated. This makes possible a functional check of
these signalling elements.
