FIGURE 6 - EVAPORATOR SCREEN

This screen displays a cutaway view of the chiller
evaporator. All setpoints relating to the evaporator side
of the chiller are maintained on this screen. Animation
of the evaporation process indicates whether the chiller
is presently in a RUN condition. Animation of the liq-
uid flow indicates chilled liquid flow.
DISPLAY ONLY
Leaving Chilled Liquid Temperature
Displays the temperature of the liquid as it leaves the
evaporator.
Entering Chilled Liquid Temperature
Displays the temperature of the liquid as it enters the
evaporator.
Evaporator Small Temp Difference
Displays the difference between the Leaving Chilled
Liquid temperature and the Evaporator Refrigerant
temperature. The Evaporator Refrigerant temperature
is measured by the Refrigerant Temperature sensor in-
put if the sensor is present, otherwise it is calculated
from the Evaporator Saturation temperature.
Evaporator Pressure
Displays the present refrigerant pressure in the
evaporator.

Evaporator Saturation Temperature
Displays the present saturation temperature in the
evaporator.
Evaporator Refrigerant Temperature
Displays the temperature of the refrigerant in the evap-
orator, if the sensor is present.
Chilled Liquid Flow Switch (Open / Closed)
Displays whether the liquid flow is present in the evap-
orator.
Chilled Liquid Pump
Displays the command presently sent by the control
center to the Chilled Liquid Pump (RUN or STOP).
Leaving Chilled Liquid Temperature Setpoints
Setpoint
Displays the present setpoint to which the chiller is op-
erating, whether controlled locally or remotely.
Shutdown
Displays the Leaving Chilled Liquid Temperature at
which the chiller will shut down to avoid over-cooling
the building. By default this value is 4°F below the
Leaving Chilled Liquid Setpoint, but is adjustable.
