DRIVE SHAFT / PROPELLER SHAFT MODELS
2. Check that bore of coupling is 90 degrees from coupling flange. Replace coupling if
needle moves.

Strut

Refer to boat manufacturer's service manual for alignment and replacement. Normally, the
shaft should be centered in the cutlass bearing. Shims (placed between the strut and hull)
are used to align the strut to the shaft.
