2.3 Intercom

The built-in intercom permits voice communications between two FS-2570C Control Units.
1. Press the [1/ RT/2182] key to show the radiotelephone screen.
2. Off hook the handset.
3. Press the [4/IntCom] key to show INTERCOM on the display.
4. Press the PTT switch on the handset and speak into the handset.
Hang up the handset to turn the intercom off. The indication INTERCOM disappears from
the screen.

2.4 Telex Communications

Telex communication is performed with the NBDP Terminal Unit (option) connected to this
radiotelephone. No special operation is required; class of emission and frequencies are
automatically set on the NBDP Terminal Unit. Distress frequencies for telephony and
telegraphy are as below. For other traffic frequencies, refer to the Appendix.
