CONTROL METHOD OF THE BRAKING SYSTEM ACCUMULATOR PRE-CHARGE

The accumulator is charged with high-pressure nitrogen gas, so mistaken operation may cause an ex-
plosion, which will lead to serious injury or death or damage. For handling, always observe the follow-
ing.
The pressure in the hydraulic circuit cannot be completely removed. When removing the hydraulic
equipment, do not stand in the direction that the oil spurts out when performing the operation. In
addition, loosen the bolts slowly when performing the operation.
Do not disassemble.
Do not bring it near open flame or dispose of it in fire.
Do not perform drilling, welding or flame-cutting.
Do not hit or roll the accumulator, or subject it to any impact.
When disposing of it, the gas must be released. Ask your Komatsu distributor for replacement of
the belt.
Low nitrogen pressure (pre-charge) in the accumulator can cause a decrease or lack of braking and
cause serious injury or even death.
Contact the Komatsu distributor for this control.

EVERY 1000 HOURS MAINTENANCE

Maintenance for every 100, 250 and 500 hours should be performed at the same time.

METHOD FOR CHECKING THE BRAKING PRESSURE

If the braking pressure is not correct, the braking system doesn't work correctly and may cause serious
injury and even death.
Ask your Komatsu distributor for the checking.
