MAINTENANCE

CLEANING METHOD OF THE SWING JOINT ELECTRICAL COLLECTOR

Use Komatsu approved products only. Ask your Komatsu distributor for further information.
Having carried out this maintenance operation, when starting the engine, and before operating with the
machine, check the full functionality of the steering system, the speed change and outriggers/blade.
1.
Position the machine on a firm and level surface and lower the equipment to the ground.
2.
Turn the starting switch to OFF position (A) and stop the
engine.
3.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position (O)
and remove the key.
4.
Remove the cover (1).
5.
Remove fresh air filter (2).
6.
Remove the 4 nuts (3) and washers and remove the protective cover (4).
