Before you begin
Make sure that the special material has with the correct specifications (see

'Input trays, output bins and materials' on page 182).
Copying on special material placed in a paper tray
Open the paper-compartment door, place the required paper and close the door.

Place and align the originals face down in the automatic document feeder.

Follow the feed direction according to the dimensions and orientation of the
information on the originals.
Select the 'Copy' mode

The 'Basic' section automatically opens.
Select '1-sided' or '2-sided' in the 'Original' and 'Copy' function boxes.

Select 'Yes' or 'No' in the 'Staple' function box.

Activate the 'Paper' section.

Make sure that the 'Paper input' card is open.
Select the loaded tray in the 'Source' function box.

The enlargement or reduction is automatically adjusted and displayed in the
'Basic' section.

Open the 'Original type' card.
Keep the setting or change the original type.
Open the 'Copy type' card.

Keep the setting or change the copy type.
Select the number of copies.

Press the start key .

You can use the platen to copy the originals on the special material.
Note:
Remember that the enlargement or reduction is not adjusted automatically (see
'Make an enlarged or reduced copy' on page 119).
