2-Sided Print Image Uneven Gloss Correction

When two-sided copying or printing is made for high density images on coated paper, gloss
unevenness that looks like sprinkled fine sands may occur on the side that first passes through
the fixing unit. You can use this feature to reduce the gloss unevenness. However, it may take a
few moments to output the copy or print because it takes time for the fixing unit to cool down
after copying or printing the first side.
IMPORTANT
• [2-Sided Print Image Uneven Gloss Correction] is displayed only if the settings are made available by
your local authorized Canon dealer. Even if [2-Sided Print Image Uneven Gloss Correction] is displayed,
do not allow anyone to change the settings except for the system manager. For more information on
changing the settings, contact your local authorized Canon dealer.
• To enable the settings of this mode, turn the main power OFF, and then back ON again.

➞ [System Settings] ➞ [Device Management Settings] ➞
Press

[2-Sided Print Image Uneven Gloss Correction].

Press [On] ➞ [OK].
Hold the control panel power switch for more than three seconds to
initiate the Shutdown mode.
