For security reasons, Telnet is disabled by default. Telnet should only be enabled to perform diagnostic
sessions. When completed, telnet should always be disabled
As a support tool to perform diagnostic debugging of the wireless AP, the capability to access the
wireless AP by Telnet/SSH has been provided. Normally, telnet/SSH are disabled and should be
disabled again after diagnostics. This process should only be used by support services.
To Configure the Password for Telnet/SSH access:

From the top menu, click Wireless AP.
The Wireless AP Configuration screen appears.
2 From the left pane, click Global Settings > AP Registration .
The Wireless AP Registration screen appears.
