SYMPTOM
1.
Only hot or
cold water
from the
shower head.
2.
Fluctuating or
reduced flow
rate.
3.
No flow from
the control
outlet.
4.
Blend
temperature
drift.
5.
Max blend
temp too hot
or too cold.

Water leaking
from the
shower head.
7.
Flow rate too
low or
too high.

FAULT FINDING

CAUSE/RECTIFICATION
a.
Inlets reversed (hot supply to cold supply). Refer to the
section 'Reversed Supplies'.
b.
No hot water reaching the shower control.
c.
Check the filters for any blockage.
d.
Installation conditions continuously outside operating
parameters: refer to the sections 'Specifications' and
'Commissioning'.
a.
Check the showerhead, hose and filters for any blockage.
b.
Make sure the maintained inlet pressures are nominally
balanced and sufficient.
c.
Make sure the inlet temperature differentials are sufficient.
d.
Flow regulator fitted incorrectly.
e.
Airlock or partial blockage in pipework.
f.
Check that the inlet isolators are fully open.
a.
Check the showerhead, hose and filters for any blockage.
b.
Hot or cold supply failure.
c.
Check that the inlet isolators are fully open.
a.
Refer to symptom 2. above.
b.
Hot supply temperature fluctuation.
c.
Supply pressures fluctuating.
d.
Seal damage or wear. Renew the cartridge.
a.
Indicates incorrect maximum temperature setting; refer
to the section 'Commissioning'.
b.
Refer to symptom 4. above.
a.
Normal for a short period after shut off.
b.
Check that the pressures are not in excess of the
specifications for the product.
c.
Damage to cartridge inlet seals, renew.
d.
Renew the cartridge.
a.
(Too low) Insufficient supply pressures.
b.
(Too low) Make sure flow regulator is not fitted.
c.
(Too low) Refer to symptom 2. above.
d.
(Too high) Supply pressure too high. Install supplied flow
regulator on the outlet.
e.
(Too high) Refer to symptom 2. above.
